FAQ

Where do I start?

You can start by contacting me and arrange a convenient time to call you. We will take this time discuss your needs, answer any questions and schedule your complimentary introductory session.

What supplies do I need?

You will need comfortable clothes to move in, a mat, two blocks, a bolster, a blanket and a strap. It’s ok if you do not have all the props for your introductory session.

I am new to yoga and want to check if I like it or not. Do you do one time session?

I work with clients who are interested in seeing and experiencing long lasting changes. Consistency is key, which is why single sessions are not offered at this time.

I live slightly outside the neighborhoods listed, would you still travel to my place?

I mostly work in the Seaton Village, Palmerston – Little Italy, Harbord Village and The Annex. Contact me if you are just outside these areas as I may be able to accommodate with an adjustment to my rates.

What are your rates?

Private Yoga Therapy sessions are lower than private psychotherapy rates. I will provide a quote on our phone consultation.

I have never done yoga before and I am not flexible, is this for me?

Our classes are accessible to all since they are focused on the breath rather than the form; as T.K.V Desikachar said “Anybody can breathe. Therefore anybody can practice yoga”.

I have an injury/illness/disability, can you work with me?

As a yoga instructor specialized in therapeutic yoga, I have experience in working with clients with a range of health conditions. We will discuss your specific needs during our phone call, and ensure you work with the most suited teacher for your specific situation.
